Gautam Gambhir stressed that the conversations between the head coach and players should remain in the dressing room after controversial reports of unrest floated around the internet ahead of the fifth and final Test between India and Australia set to be played in Sydney from January 3. The reports suggested that after India’s 184-run defeat in Melbourne, the dressing room sunk in chaos with Gambhir having had enough of the average performances.
The 43-year-old put all the reports to bed by stating they were just reports, and not the truth.
"Debates between coach and player should remain in dressing room. Stern words. They were just reports not truth," Gautam Gambhir was quoted as saying by the PTI.
